RECOMMENDATIONS

(Administrative/Policy Issues)



The proposed development schemes of UP&DD may be included in the

PSDP of the Provincial Government.



The concerned Departments may be instructed to entertain the

requests of this Department for land and staff on priority basis.



UP&DD may be declared as Administrative Department of QDA, WASA

and GDA. As per rules of business 1976.



At least Twelve touring vehicles may be provided to UP&DD for

carrying out the development works throughout the province.



Ministry of Housing may be approached for execution of National Low

Cost Housing Schemes through UP&DD.

RECOMMENDATIONS

(Beautification of Cities)



Bill boards that marred the beauty of Quetta city may be erected at few

selected areas.



Illegal encroached state lands should be vacated and converted into

beautiful pavilion equipped with recreational facilities.



Book Streets may be established to promote study habit for all.



Tea/Coffee shops may be established to gather the literary people to a

platform.



A cultural village may be established to display the cultural heritage of

Balochistan.



All civic facilities such as schools, hospitals, electricity, gas, markets etc

needs to be provided in remote townships to discourage the rural influx

to major cities.
